After Founder Lucy lost her job in arts events in 2020, she relocated from London back to her hometown Bristol, and launched Canβt Dance Coffee.
Canβt Dance Coffee started as a mobile coffee trike, allowing the public to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in a safe and socially distanced environment during lockdown 2020. We trade on a formerly redundant paved area on the outskirts of Clifton Village and have since evolved from the mobile trike to an up-cycled shipping container cafe and top destination for takeaway coffee in Bristol.
We're now well and truly settled in, serving coffees from our shipping container seven days a week with mobile units around the city!
You can also find us inside the Hargreaves Lansdown office block, however this is for HL staff only.

The trike's first outing. The road outside of Lucy's mum's house acted as the test location.

Sunny summer days on the corner. Same view now, just a little more shaded.

The trike was a great spot for people to head to on their daily lockdown excursions.

Planning approval for the container!

Approval for outdoor seating, we're now able to have 5 tables + 10 chairs

The trike still gets around, here it is in a temporary spot on Gloucester road

In the two years since opening we've amassed a following of loyal customers!

We got the Piaggio mid 2021, here it is with it's shiny coffee machine (taken from the trike!)

The Piaggio is our main events vehicle, it's small but mighty
